Last month we took a first look at Tryp Fortitude Valley and we’re excited the doors have now open on Brisbane’s coolest new hotel.
The 65-room boutique hotel showcases vibrant artwork and murals by renowned street artists Rone, Beastman, Magee and Numskull. Each artist has taken over a floor and made their creative stamp, making for a stunning and inspiring space.
You’ll be greeted by the Tryp team decked out in uniforms designed by Brisbane based cult brand Black Milk Clothing and then ushered up a glass elevator that showcases artworks painted on the walls of the lift shaft.
Fusing Brisbane’s unique heritage including 150 year old renewed timber flooring and rustic features with contemporary fittings throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and social spaces. Rooms include all important free Wi-Fi, iPod docking station and bathrooms with rainhead shower and custom Tryp basin. The coolest rooms feature a four-person balcony spa taking in views over uber cool Fortitude Valley.
On ground level, hugely popular burger brand Chur has opened its Brisbane outpost by Chef Warren Turnbull, formerly of Sydney’s Assiette and District Dining. It’s pure style at rooftop bar called Up with Veuve Clicquot flowing and mist jets to keep patrons cool this summer. With it’s own lift and laneway entrance, it’s bound to attract celebrities and A-listers visiting Brisbane.
Up décor is all white hot rather than the signature street art, lending itself to host various functions with ease. Downstairs a meeting room with boardroom table and library to host gathering of up to 12 people creates more creative meeting spaces.
Tryp Brisbane is offering opening rates from $199 per night. Coming to alluxia.com soon! For enquiries or to book contact info@alluxia.com
