Winter is here and truffles are back on the menu!
The Truffle Festival – Canberra Region is back with a program packed with decadent truffle dinners, workshops, truffle hunts, food and wine pairings, signature menus, cooking classes and chef demonstrations across ACT and Southern NSW until the end of the truffle season in mid-August.
“While truffles are available all over Australia, those grown in the Canberra Region are prized by chefs, providores and discerning foodies alike because the climate around Canberra almost perfectly matches the growing conditions of the famous French truffle region” said Festival President Dick Groot Obbink
Explore the Canberra region’s foodie trail and discover the capital’s epicurean secrets. Here’s some highlights from the program:
Truffle Hunt & Degustation
Start your truffle adventure with a Truffle Hunt & Degustation at Turalla Truffles. A little over 30 minutes from the city, join Damian Robinson, his family and adorable Jack Russell dogs for a Truffle hunt followed by cooking the spoils and enjoying a long lunch.

Renowned regional dining destination Poachers Pantry present a delectable dinner series featuring Blue Frog Truffles from Sutton paired beautifully with Poachers Vineyard wines and other local produce over 5 courses.
Brunello Truffle Dinners
