Given our expertise in all things travel, we recently wrote a story for Style Magazines on tips for organising the ultimate girls’ getaway and we thought we’d share our advice with you here too.

As we start a new year, we take a moment to reflect on the places we've been, the good times shared and the adventures we've had in the year gone by. In 2014, we travelled to 19 different regions of Australia to unearth the best of the best in each region, conducting site inspections and experiencing these unique getaways. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Aside from being the capital of cool, Byron Bay is also home to some damn fine breakfasts.

It’s less than 4 weeks before the world’s attention is on Brisbane for the G20 Leaders Summit. While there are some great events for locals to celebrate this important occasion including the G20 Global Café and G20 Cultural Celebration, Brisbanites are encouraged to exit the city on Friday 14 November to make way for the motorcades. While glimpsing an Obama motorcade might be cool, what’s cooler is a long weekend by the beach!
