Taking over Noosa this October, you’ll find the perfect combination of art events to feel inspired and lift your creative spirits. Think 28 days of culture with 275 artists exhibiting, 28 installations and 10 performances across the glorious Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Noosa Open Studios
Noosa Opens Studios makes a long awaited return from 1-10 October providing a unique opportunity for visitors to engage with artists in their private studios, workshops and galleries. The 2021 festival will be the largest in the event’s history, with 103 eclectic art studios open to the public across the ten-day event. Floating Land
The following week, 9-24 October you’ll find one of Noosa’s most significant and iconic cultural events. Floating Land: at the edge of ideas marks the 11th iteration of Australia’s premier art in the environment event. Reflecting Noosa’s engagement with the natural environment, Floating Land focuses on the temporary installation of artworks in two key anchor sites this year – with installations rising from the water and shoreline at Lake Cootharaba in Boreen Point and winding along the boardwalk from Little Cove to Noosa National Park.
Tall Trees Art Exhibition
Head to the charming country town of Cooran in the Noosa hinterland from 29-31 October for the ARTober finale. The Tall Trees Art Exhibition is a community-based art project transforming 16 different venues in King Street, Cooran into galleries and exhibition spaces for all to enjoy. The event kicks off on Friday 29 October with a Meet the Artists opening night event and runs throughout the weekend.
