We're all a little rancho relaxo in January, but that didn't stop us unearthing some hidden gems to kick start the new year! We travelled to the Granite Belt, Gold Coast and the Tweed conducting site inspections and exploring what to see and do in these magnificent regions.
Hatherley Birrell Collection, Launceston
A magnificent collection of art-inspired accommodation in Launceston, Tasmania. Choose carefully, as there is a range of unique accommodation. We stayed in the Ballroom, a stunning conversion perfectly blending heritage and contemporary architecture with all modern inclusions and the most delicious breakfast of local produce. A must stay in Launceston.
In January, we visited the beautiful Granite Belt and checked out a number of new properties for our handpicked collection of Granite Belt Accommodation. We were impressed with 31 The Rocks, great location, lovely contemporary villas and we particularly loved the owners bespoke outdoor pieces dotted throughout the grounds, what a hidden talent!
Another Granite Belt gem, Severn-dipity has recently added a new addition to the property - Terata providing more self-contained accommodation on a working farm on the banks of the Severn River. Choose Severn-dipity for seclusion and privacy and a true country experience.
Vineyard Cottages, Granite Belt
Cute as a button, traditional country-style cottages set on stunningly manicured gardens. Best of all, there is a fantastic restaurant located onsite so you can enjoy divine dining and local Granite Belt produce and be just metres to your accommodation. Country breakfast in the restaurant included in your rate too.
