What a week! We’ve been catching up in the office and adding new holiday houses and boutique hotels to the alluxia collection, ready for you to browse and book for your next weekend getaway.
Now it’s Friday, which is cause for celebration in itself. So we say hello weekend with a Vodka Negroni! Although, with the cold snap about to hit Australia this weekend, you might be feeling more like some mulled wine by Sunday night.
We think an old fashioned Vodka Negroni would be the perfect drink to enjoy fireside in the Blue Mountains, what do you think?
Vodka Negroni
Serves 1
30ml vodka (or gin)
30ml Campari
30ml sweet vermouth
chilled soda water to top up (optional)
slice of orange
fresh ice
Method
1 Fill a short tumbler glass with ice.
2 Pour the spirits over the ice. Twist a slice of orange to release the aromatic oils in the peel and add to the glass
Add a splash of soda water if you like.
