Lights! Music! Action! Vivid Sydney is set to illuminate the Harbour City with its artistic and futuristic festivities this month...tomorrow to be exact. This time around is expected to be bigger and brighter than ever with installations extending to Chatswood, Central Park and Prymont Bay Park itself. With its hypnotic outdoor exhibits, vibrant music lineup and inspiring performances, Vivid Sydney is an absolute must do!
Lights, Lights and More Lights…
Vivid Sydney challenges the crème de la crème of the art world to interpret and transform Sydney’s landscape over 18 nights. The city is set to be converted into a wonderland of all things colourful as sculptures, installations and grand projections are illuminated. The key installation for festival-goers is Paint the Town, which enables the public to select colours and patterns for Sydney’s most prominent skyscrapers. To light up the city with your very own masterpiece, head to Circular Quay between 6PM and midnight.
We’d also recommend taking a well-deserved peek at Lighting the Sails which is set to create swirls of colours on Australia’s iconic, Sydney Opera House. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy some award winning nibbles, contemporary music and most importantly the lights of Sydney. This large-scale design will dazzle festivalgoers between 6PM and midnight as well.
Hear the Beat of Sydney
