Pumphouse Point, Tasmania's most spectacular boutique hotel is famous for its luxury over water rooms at the pristine Lake St Clair in Tassies Western Wilderness.
Redefining relaxed luxury with 18 exquisite rooms split between the Pumphouse building on the lake or the charming Shorehouse building on the water's edge, the decision on where to stay just got harder with the addition of the 'The Retreat'.
The Retreat is a private oasis hidden on the edge of the lake, surrounded by native bush providing privacy, seclusion and a new level of luxury at Pumphouse Point.
Designed with elements showcasing the lake's natural beauty, The Retreat includes locally crafted furniture, ceramics, bath products and two deep soaking tubs (one decadently under the stars) all combining to create a romantic escape for two.
Due to open mid-December, The Retreat will come inclusive of all food including farmhouse fare dinners (served either privately in The Retreat, or at shared tables in the Shorehouse dining room), an expanded larder brimming with the best local produce, wines and Tasmanian craft beers, ciders and spirits.
