The ever-popular Sculpture by the Sea exhibition returns to Sydney this month with a stunning event that's all about location, location, location!
With a spectacular backdrop the exhibition takes in some of Australia's most famous and most photographed beaches, positioned along the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk. The Bondi to Tamarama walk is transformed into a 2km long temporary sculpture park featuring over 100 sculptures from Australia and across the world. The spectacular scenery creates a magical ambience to experience art in nature.
From humble beginnings, Sculpture by the Sea two decades on now attracts half a million visitors annually, sells more than a million dollars' worth of sculpture and has spread across the globe. The exhibition is now also staged in Cottesloe, Western Australia and Aarhus, Denmark.
The secret to Sculpture by the Sea's success is its appeal and accessibility to the general public, who might not normally visit a sculpture exhibition.
Sculpture by the Sea is a not-for-profit organisation relying on the generous support of corporate sponsors to present one of the world's largest free to the public events.
Sculpture by the Sea is not to be missed at Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk in Sydney Australia from 22 October – 8 November 2015.
