SOUL of Gerringong has introduced its savvy sister – The SOUL Cottage, a new holiday house right next door, welcoming guests with its trademark coastal-luxe style.
The SOUL Cottage is the place for couples' getaways or family holidays. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an outdoor shower, the property has been designed to embrace both dual indoor and outdoor living, reflective of the relaxed south coast lifestyle.
It's an organic, light-filled space with pitched ceilings and polished concrete floors. The French doors open from the living to the undercover deck for outdoor entertaining, or just relaxing on the hanging chairs. The tropical gardens and yard provide a private oasis, and in the cooler weather is the perfect spot to sit around the outdoor fire pit.
The SOUL Cottage style has been carefully curated by owner and interior designer, Simone Mathews. Open to guests for a limited time from January to mid-May 2019, it's a pop-up holiday house experience that doubles as a virtual retail space for guests. 'Shop the look' from brands including The Beach People, HK Living, T&C Furniture, Cultiver, Blacklist Store, SONOS and more, to re-create the style aesthetic for themselves.
Simone is renowned for her relaxed, yet sophisticated coastal aesthetic, as is the signature look at SOUL of Gerringong, which opened in November 2017. A bespoke guesthouse, it was restored from one of the town's original coastal farmhouses dating back to the late 1800s.
The SOUL Cottage is located directly next door to SOUL of Gerringong and is walking distance to the heart of the village, obscured from the street by its double barn doors.
Beaches and cafés, award-winning restaurants, wineries and cooking schools are all nearby including the newly opened The Hill Bar & Kitchen with indoor & outdoor seating to take advantage of the panoramic views of the stunning coastline.
