Walking along the many kilometers of pathway along the Brisbane River, or for a few dollars you can grab a City Cycle. If it's a hot and steamy Brisbane day go to the beach at South Bank.

Go to the Museum of Brisbane in City Hall; a little known museum where the history of Brisbane is on show; great place for a bit of nostalgia on a rainy day.
What's the "Must See" attraction in your city...
If you are a first time visitor to Brisbane at trip to Mt Cootha is a must, provides the best panoramic view of the city. Then anything around the river, a Story Bridge Climb, canoeing on the river or abseiling at Kangaroo Cliffs. For international guests, cuddle a Koala at Lone Pine or get up close and personal with a Croc at Australia Zoo.
The city's best kept secret...
This won't be a secret for too much longer, the Vibrant Laneways project is now complete with many of the city laneways turned into outdoor galleries. You can download a map of the laneways from the Brisbane City Council website.
