This years Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before with the addition of 15 new events announced to the packed program of food and wine experiences.
Celebrating all things food and wine over two fabulous months, the Hunter Valley will showcase 40 events during May and June including delicious gourmet dinners, wine and cocktail master classes, hands-on cooking classes and long lunches.
This years 15 new events include Viva Verdelho at Tulloch Wines, Magnum Madness at Hart & Hunter Cellar Door, Music in the Woods at Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Cheeses of the World at Two Fat Blokes and Picnic in the Park.
Complementing these new events are Festival favourites including the Tyrrell's Winemaker's Luncheon, Meet the Farmer Dinner at Margan, Glandore Estate Burning of the Barrel and By the Fireside with Lisa McGuigan.
There's also a host of vertical tastings, vineyard tours and set-price lunches and dinners on offer during the Festival.
Just a two-hour drive north of Sydney, the Hunter Valley is home to more than 150 wineries and is bursting with all the delights of its highly acclaimed food and wine culture. VERMOUTH COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS AT MARGAN: Every Saturday May & June
Become a master in the art of cocktails with the region's first Vermouth produced by Margan. Learn how to shake, swirl and sip a Negroni, Americano and Cobbler. Also, check out Margan's other fab events including the Original 100 Metre Meal, Meet the Farmer Dinner and a Nose to Tail Cooking School.
MAGNUM MADNESS: 5, 6, 26 & 27 May 2018
Join the team at the Hart & Hunter Cellar Door and enjoy a flight of five wines poured from magnums matched superbly with five delicious canapés.
OPEN DAY AT KEITH TULLOCH WINES: Saturday 26 May 2018
Enjoy a glass of wine and game of croquet at the Keith Tulloch Wine open day. Live entertainment, tastings in the winery and lawn games will keep you entertained.
INITIMATE CELLAR DOOR LUNCH AT TINONEE VINEYARD ESTATE: Saturday 23 June
Visit the home of Broke Fordwich's newest wine label 1813, as you enjoy a special cutting of the vines, estate tour followed by an intimate lunch at the newly renovated Tinonee Vineyard Estate.
