Stepping Out in Cabarita Beach
Stepping out is easy at Caba Break, as you have everything you need at your doorstep. Firstly, there is a Woolworths supermarket just mere metres away, making self catering a breeze and so convenient we dubbed it the “minibar” during our stay, we were always ducking down for treats!
The coffee game is strong in Cabarita Beach and we trialled a different café every day and can confirm they were all on point. It’s hard to go past Caba Social located directly downstairs, serving good strong coffee. It’s also the pick up point for Sourdough Crumpet Co and we highly recommend you pre-order these artisan crumpets for your weekend brekkie.
Venture further afield to Kartel, serving Allpress Espresso from a hole in the wall café. While you’re waiting, browse the super cute Corner Collective for homewares and collectables.
Get the Scoop a magnificent gelato/juice bar is dangerously close to your coastal digs. Their gelatos are sensational and ask nicely and you can indulge in some adults only gelato flavours such as Ink Gin and Tequila!
For the ultimate fish and chips, head to Stunned Mullet for quality fare. The fish tacos are next level and the proportions generous.
Round out your stay with a special dinner at Paper Daisy at Halcyon House. The award-wining restaurant with Jason Barratt leading the kitchen is one of sophisticated simplicity producing satisfying and memorable dishes in the most stunning Anna Spiro designed coastal restaurant.
Caba Break is the perfect base to explore all the Tweed has to offer or simply leave your car at home and enjoy a coastal break in Cabarita. Caba Break, like any new property has a few opening quirks however with these minor elements improved, it’s an impressive addition to the Tweed’s list of coastal experiences.
