A luxury escape to the Hunter Valley is the perfect cure for the winter blues. It provides you with the perfect chance to wine and dine with leading Hunter Valley winemakers and chefs, take part in interactive classes to fine-tune your culinary skills or simply curl up beside the fire with a glass of Hunter Valley wine and cheese plate.
On Friday 25 August, make your way to Pokolbin and check-in to your choice of one or two bedroom villas at H Boutique Hotel. Each modern, contemporary villa has a fireplace, spacious lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor area and separate bedrooms. We'll deliver wine & provisions supplied by one of the Hunter Valley's top gourmet providores to your room ready for your arrival, so you can settle in and relax from the moment you arrive.

On Friday night, head to one of the Hunter's finest restaurants Esca at Bimbadgen for a wine tasting masterclass dinner hosted by wine blogger Stuart Robinson aka The Vinsomniac. If you've been to one of his Brisbane "Swirl Sniff Spit" events you know you're in for a treat! Stuart will take you through a little wine education, showcasing Hunter Valley wines from the traditional through to the new young winemakers. You'll taste a series of wine brackets matched with a delicious tasting menu.
On Saturday, Stuart will host a private wine tour of the Hunter Valley. We'll be visiting wineries such as Usher Tinkler Wines and Meerea Park Wines which showcase the very best examples of Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz as well as a variety of other exciting producers. You'll go behind the scenes, meet the wine makers, enjoy barrel tasting and a casual lunch on our epic full day wine tour. We'll enjoy lunch at Hunters Quarter, an elegant dining experience overlooking the vines at Cockfighters Ghost Vineyard.
On Sunday, get your hands dirty! We start with a garden tour and harvest with Margan horticulturist, Pat Hansson in their incredible kitchen garden. Continue with a hands on cooking school and afterwards enjoy the fruits of your labour with a delicious lunch in the award winning Margan Restaurant.
